On your wedding day you want to feel free…

You want to be true to who you are and unafraid to hold anything back. When you look back at your wedding images, that’s exactly what you’ll see!

If you could write another short paragraph or couple of sentences in her that take up the space that this writing is holding that would really help the spacing but don’t if it’s a detrement to the content, hope that makes sense!

Does being in front of a lens make you nervous?

It’s hard not to get self conscious when someone is standing in front of you with a camera. But what if you trusted the person behind the lens to truly see you and were confident in how the photographs would turn out? You wouldn’t think twice about running barefoot across the lawn, doubling over laughing, or pulling each other in close.

My hope is that you’ll feel that free, as free as you hope to be, on your wedding day. Seeing my familiar face behind the camera, you’ll know there’s nothing to be nervous about.

Honestly Maylies felt more like a friend than a vendor because she seemed to intuitively understand exactly what I wanted. The pictures turned out so beautifully and told our story exactly the way I had imagined due to her devotion to capturing every detail.

It all starts with getting to know the real you:

I’ll listen to your ideas about compositions that are exciting. I’ll also ask to see what photos you love most of yourselves and why, to see how you perceive yourself best. For example, are you goofy together and love the candid look of your laughter? Or are your favorite photos of you serenely looking into the camera? Collect the pictures that truly feel like you and send them my way.

We’ll create a timeline for your day together, so when the time comes we’ll all know where we need to be with zero stress. Right away we’ll make a rough timeline and as we get closer to your wedding day, we’ll start dialing in on details. We’ll also create a shotlist together, which is basically photographer speak for “my day-of to-do list”. This list will ensure I know what family and friend shots you absolutely can’t live without.

Once I hear back from you about which package you would like. I’ll send you a contract and invoice. To make it official I will need the contract signed and your 30% non-refundable retainer. All of those documents, copies of our communication and any details we exchange will be organized and easily accessible through your portal.

We’ll create a timeline for your day together, so when the time comes we’ll all know where we need to be with zero stress. How exciting, the big day has finally come! This is the easiest and most fun part of the entire process! I’ll arrive a bit early to say hi and check in. We may have met before for an engagement session or maybe not, either way you’ll have gotten to know me. While you continue to get settled I’ll do some scouting and then start with what we planned to document your lovely day.
Relive it all

Your full online gallery of images from your lovely day, professionally edited, will be ready within 16 weeks. You can expect beautiful, emotional, fun, timeless, documentary style memories of your celebration. The memories and feelings you’ve been hoping to relive are yours to keep.

I’d love to hop on the phone! This really helps me get to know what you need and want for your day. It also gives you a sense of what working together will be like.
